GIVING
Giving to New Mexico
AIDS Services
There are many different ways you can help New Mexico
AIDS Services (NMAS) provide the services we make
available to the community and to our HIV+/AIDS clients:
You
can volunteer to help us with events,
administrative tasks and other needs. To fill out a
Volunteer Registration, you may visit our website,
www.nmas.net, visit our office at 625 Truman NE, or
call our front desk (938-7100) and ask for a Volunteer
Registration to be sent to you.
You
may donate online by visiting
www.firstgiving.com/nmas. You can donate in
honor of someone by following the instructions on the
site, or you can give a general donation to our agency.
Should you have any questions or issues, please contact
938-7120.
You
can donate through workplace contributions by
designating NMAS as the recipient of your donation,
whether the fund drive is the United Way, the State
Employees Charity Campaign, your company’s fund drive,
or another fund drive. Just write ‘New Mexico AIDS
Services’ on the campaign pledge card or sheet provided
to you at your workplace along with our address: 625
Truman NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87110.
Some large corporate employers will allow you donate to NMAS by taking regular payroll deductions from
your paycheck and remitting that deduction to NMAS. Talk
to your company’s Human Resources Division to see if
your company offers this option.
You
can increase the impact of your donation through
matching gifts from your employer. Check with your
company’s Human Resources Division for more information
about matching gifts. Employer matching gifts may also
be available to you if you are the spouse of an
employee, a retired employee, or the widow/widower of a
retiree.
You
may donate through planned giving and provide for
the future needs of NMAS by including us in your estate
plan. Planned or deferred giving helps NMAS plan for the
future because the gifts will be realized at some later
date. Planned gifts may be given in many different ways,
and you don’t have to be wealthy to do it. Show your
passion and commitment for NMAS by naming us as a
beneficiary in your will, trust, or retirement plan. You
can also transfer ownership of a life insurance policy
to NMAS. If you are considering a planned gift, you
should consult with your financial advisor, attorney or
accountant to determine which method of giving will work
best for you. Please see the Planned Giving Form.
